ABOUT VIRGINIA
Neuroscience-trained systems thinker | Pharmaceutical market research professional | Certified in 12-season, 28-season, and tonal systems
I’m Virginia Schobel, founder of The Style Typology.
I’m a research-driven scientist mapping what happens when data meets color, Excel sheet included.
I did not set out to work in color analysis. I trained in neuroscience. I work in pharmaceutical market research. I think in systems. I live in spreadsheets. I make decisions based on patterns and evidence.
And then I fell down the color rabbit hole.
What started as curiosity became two and a half years of studying multiple color and style systems, comparing methods, testing results, and asking uncomfortable questions when outcomes did not hold up.
Because if something is real, it should be repeatable.
Why I Do This Differently
If you have ever:
• Received conflicting color results
• Felt boxed into a rigid label
• Wondered which system is actually right
• Questioned whether any of it truly holds up
You are not alone.
I’ve been told I was a Deep Winter based on a decades-old photo. I lived as a Dark Summer for three months before realizing it did not fit. I re-draped. I retested. I compared frameworks side by side.
What I realized is this:
No single analysis hands you a perfect identity.
The real work is integration.
What Makes The Style Typology Different
I bring multi-system fluency without dogma.
I use attribute-based color assessment grounded in color science.
I refine methods instead of defending them.
Most importantly, I help you synthesize the data in a way that fits how you think.
Because my clients are not confused. They are capable.
They are high-level operators with 72 mental tabs open. They make decisions all day. They are not afraid to invest. They are careful about investing in more noise without return.
You do not need vibes.
You need clarity that holds up.
What We Actually Do
Through attribute-based color assessment, you receive:
• A personalized color decision map
• A strategic color profile
• A custom ColorAxis report with guided video walkthrough
Not just a season. Not just a palette.
A framework that helps your wardrobe work as hard as you do.
This is about ending wardrobe underperformance.
Reducing mental exhaustion.
Eliminating wasted time and money.
Closing the gap between who you are and how you show up.
For example, when you understand why charcoal anchors your core range while navy flexes in your supporting zone, decisions become faster and more intentional.
Who I Serve
I work with women operating at an exceptional level.
Women in a peak responsibility season.
Women leading at work and at home.
Women who value frameworks.
Women who expect ROI.
If your results are exceptional but your wardrobe is playing catch-up, you are in the right place.
A Note on Excellence
You are not trying to become exceptional.
You already are.
The goal is alignment.
When your wardrobe reflects your capability, something shifts. Decisions get faster. Presence gets stronger. Mental load decreases.
You stop managing your appearance.
You start showing up fully.
Welcome to The Style Typology
This is where science meets style.
Where data meets nuance.
Where rigor meets a little wit.
If you operate at an exceptional level, your wardrobe should too.
Let’s make it perform like it.
